Message from the President
Dear Santa Barbara Associates and Friends,
It was a full house for the Annual Meeting held on February 22nd at the University Club. We certainly were a lively group as we mixed and mingled in the bar before moving into the dining room for a delicious buffet dinner. The program included the acknowledgement of the newly elected 2024 Board of Directors with a special welcome to new Board members Susan Spieler and Rachel Quittner. Departing Board members Barbara Bartolome and Denise Lockhart were honored for their dedication to their volunteer work on the Board. We are most grateful for all that they have done in service to Santa Barbara Associates.
Featured speaker Seth Hammond was introduced by his wife, the delightful Tanis Hammond. SBA Board Member Tanis gave us a heartwarming lead-in to Seth’s talk about his father George Hammond. There were many photos and firsthand stories shared of his airborne adventures.
